A Special Cake for Mom

Posted by Jennifer at 12:02 AM
I made a cake for my mom this week because she was visiting. I tapped into some of her hobbies and things that she loves.

The figures are my mom and dad, my two brothers and lastly me, in fondant form.

The musical notes play out "Happy Birthday to you."

The stained glass cross is made of buttercream.

Oh my gosh - your stick figure fondant people look better than my drawn on paper stick figure people! How do you do that?

Dawg,
This cake was not only awesome, but very original. You took things in Mom's life and put it on a Cake. I know Mom was shocked, especially when she saw the things that are most important in her life on a cake! Great Job! Love you!
