I am located near Salt Lake City, Utah, and serve all of the Salt Lake Valley along with the surrounding areas with made-to-order cakes. Each cake is made fresh, never frozen, and covered in homemade marshmallow fondant. While I specialize in handmade fondant decorations, I pay special attention to the flavors of my cakes and have a wide variety of cake flavors, fillings, and frostings. Every cake is designed to fit each client's needs and so I spend a few hours sketching out potential cake designs to be sure that what I'm thinking is what you want.

I don't know much about Twilight but I do know there are some die-heart fans out there! I've done a few Twilight themed cakes in the past and this time we went with a different idea. Geysan had some of Valeria's favorite quotes from the book and so I wrote them all around the cake. I used the iconic chess pieces, apple, flowers, and ribbon from the books too. The cake was After Dinner Mint Cake and Snow white Cake (see my whole flavor list at www.SaltCakeCity.com). Ah, Team Edward, Team Jacob? I don't know but love to make the cakes for them!
In Class #1, you will learn the tools necessary to make a beautiful cake, how to make marshmallow fondant, how to torte and frost the cake, cover the cake in fondant, make various decorations using a number of techniques, and then decorate and complete your cake creation.
You will also be provided with a detailed binder of all of the information covered in class along with various recipes and other helpful information.
Lastly, you will take your cake home to enjoy with friends and family. This 3-hour class is 100% hands-on with all materials supplied from beginning to end so come ready to get covered in powdered sugar goodness!
