Elizabeth wanted a very elegant and simple wedding cake. Her fiance, on the other hand, wanted something with smiley faces on it, since that was their little inside joke. When I met with them, I was quite challenged to figure out how to make both of them happy. This cake was the result. I used the smiley faces as little patterns around the 2nd and 4th tier and then used crystal rhinestone beading and 3 beautiful crystal brooches. I also added shimmered borders on each tier to make the cake pop just a bit more.
